IMM 2010 - Germany

Just done a quick search at it is going to be held on 10th May???? Same as Holland.

I'm now confused. Its also being listed as 21-24th May!!

Can we do a costing on the IMM 2010 ie ferry, tolls, entrance fee ect...??

Not enough info to do a valid costing as yet.

But, I'm up for it, hopefully with a visit to the ring on the way there or back, I'm yet to do it in a car, although i have scared myself (and possibly others) round there on a bike a few times.

it depends on date tbh.

I have looked at mileage and they are as follows:-

calais - IMM = 532miles
dunkirk - IMM = 505miles
Hook of Holland - IMM = 457miles.

Ferry to Hook last year was £165 return for me (1 person + overnight outbound journey). and £175 for 2 adults

Yes it was the same price when we went to Denmark....

Would it be better to go via Dover/Calais..??

Well you save 80ish miles each way going via the Hook plus a simular amount on this side by using Harwich, so thats the best part of two tanks of Fuel.

i dont mind the extra driving....

how much of a differance in price would it be do you think....?

Don't know as of yet, but, its my intention to be there so I'll make a call when ferry prices are available.
Extra driving doesn't bother me, but, theres no point in paying for the privalege

July is a quiet month for Mini shows (i think)

Just avoid the first weekend in July. Their are two carnivals the same weekend.

Dover Calais last August £90 return for 4 of us in one car. SpeedFerries.

That's £75 cheaper than the Harwich price, which is 3 tanks of fuel or 600+ miles in my car - less in others.

The price of fuel may fluctuate and your home may be at risk if you don't keep up payments to the boys.

We'll have to have a talk about it. Clashing with IMM would be a real issue for me.

Can you confirm that date Johnnie? 24th May next year is a Monday. Do they/you mean 22nd/23rd?

IMM is the friday - monday

gt yarmouth port might be ready by then was surposed to be finished by the end of 2008

We want to give you some information about the IMM 2010 in Germany.

The meeting will be on whitsun, May 21. to May 24.

The location is in Bavaria, Germany, D-92318 Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz

Participation fee is 50,- Euro (at time £ 45,-, may vary to exchange
rates), including a t-shirt, a sticker, one hot meal and one breakfast.

For dinner you can choose from 4 different dishes including a vegetarian
dish. Selection has to be made with the booking.

Booking is possible from july 1. 2009, 00:00am MET.

Booking numbers will start at number 11.

Booking numbers 1 to 10 will be sold by auction at Ebay. The auction
proceeds will be given to a charitable youth organization.

already provisionally booked my hols from work.

Really cant see why they want to auction off numbers 1-10. Can they really be that good.

Been talking this event over with Liz and we are both up for a trip to Germany.
The new addition to the mini family should be up and running by then and hopefully all the bugs willl be ironed out.

We'll be booking ferrys etc fairly soon after xmas, so start saving people.

Tickets for IMM will also need to be booked in one go aswell, normally by end of Jan/Feb.
