Not sure but he did'nt want anyone taking pictures of it as it was apparently his copyright! Keith hid in long grass with a telephoto lense to get that shot i think!

Yeahhh I found that out by trying to take a picture of it on my phone ...I was then very quickly told that what I was doing was illegal and that I wasn't allowed to take a picture of his work

Re: Poringland Fete, 3rd July
He was right in that taking pictures of his artwork is indeed copyright infringement. The fact that the club cars were on public display when he took his photo at Langley means we basically waived the right to restrict any photography.
He had also taken the number plates off each of the cars in the print - if the cars were identifiable then we could have argued he was helping car cloning.
He just wanted to sell us the print - do you remember I said to him our printer bloke does the same thing - transferring photos to canvas - and he said "These are at a special price though, I won't be able to sell them at this price for much longer...". Sounds like a man desperate to sell stuff to me.
I think they were about £20 (and it was quite small - about 12"x4"). Remember kids, our printer man can do the same thing with any photos you have, and cheaper - just ask me if you want one making up. Prices start at £30 for 12"x16" and sizes go up to 16"x24".

Then surely in placing his work on public display he has done exactly the same thing, therefore he can't moan if a photo is taken?
Would have been polite to ask if he is photographing our cars for comercial purposes.

This is true. Wish I'd thought of this at the time.

Yeah, he should have at least asked. The more I think about it, the more I think he was a ****.
