Jamies Run 3 - Bank Holiday Monday 24th March
This is an excellent all day mini run around the suffolk coast and countryside. Starting in Yarmouth and finishing in the Felixstowe area.
Organised by our neighbours East Coast MOC. Mainly Bini's but last years run had quite a few of us classic Mini drivers attend.
This is a charity event in memory of one of their former members. Last year NMOC attended with 4 cars, hopefully wecan have more this year.
as you can see in the following video theres a nice ford to drive through (yes thats me first through it)

Re: Jamies Run 3 - Bank Holiday Monday 24th March
Details are now starting to come through for this years run.
note that a new route is being organised and it starts in NORWICH!!
Details below :-
Jamies Run III - Easter Monday 24th March
Jamies Run is now in it's 3rd year, and this year we've made a couple of changes.
The new route is yet to be confirmed, but we're looking to be starting at Norwich and finishing around Braintree with stops inbetween. You can still expect the same level of fantastic twisty roads and great views throughout the run.
The confirmed route and run notes and maps will be available by the end of February.
The run costs just £5 per car to enter, and in return you will receive a commemerative run window sticker. We are also looking at the possibility of run plaques and T-Shirts, at extra cost.
All profits will go to this years charity, the Special Care Baby Unit at Bury St Edmunds hospital, where Charlie Middleton has been cared for by the hard working staff. We hope to raise plenty of money this year to help them buy another incubator.

It's now looking as if I shall be Mini-less until some time in April.

Ok, but it will probably mean you have to pick me up from my place before going to Gt Yarmouth, the Las Vegas of the east.

People attending
Craig
Neil - BMW Cooper S
Johnnie / Chendi
Marc - meeting us there
Shaun???
Re: Jamies Run 3 - Bank Holiday Monday 24th March
9.15 sounds great. see you on the Tesco carpark.
I'll wear a red carnation and have a copy of the New York times under my left arm. The password is "I'd rather have a full bottle in front a' me than a full frontal lobotomy"
If you don't notice any of that the other clue is its me!!!!!!!

Re: Jamies Run 3 - Bank Holiday Monday 24th March
first layby on the A47 would be best. Saves us comin off, save a bit of time. (and everyone passing can have a look at you standing there knee deep in snow with your carnation and news paper )
Re: Jamies Run 3 - Bank Holiday Monday 24th March
Do you mean the first layby after the end of the Dereham by-pass?

Re: Jamies Run 3 - Bank Holiday Monday 24th March
any layby you want. whatever is easiest for you. (you have my moby number if you get snowed in )
Thought it would be easier than having to stop for all the lights etc.

I got in around 6pm after fish and chips and a little dabble in the arcades. (I'm now the proud owner of a Ferrari horse )

Re: Jamies Run 3 - Bank Holiday Monday 24th March
I'm glad you all had a good day. I've had a cold over easter so I wouldn't have been fit to go on the run anyway. I don't envy the driving conditions though.
