Jamies Run 5 - 5th April

As we (me + jnr) are newish to the mini scene, When is jamies run? Which club runs it?
WE are trying to sort out next years runs + shows.
I've looked in mini mag & mini world and it isn't listed.

Easter Monday,,Organised by the East Coast Mini Club of which i am also a member.Still in the planning stages at the moment,more details hopefully after the new year.

Sorry but we wont be joining the convoy for this event. Out with the minis on the following 3 Sundays plus a very busy month of May so I'll be working rather than mini-ing.

I think me, lee and the kids will be doing this one as we will be getting the mini back on the road at the end of March. If there arent any shows before this one???

I will be joining in on this one.

Has there been any details announced on this run? Thinking of having a day off work but that depends on the route they choose for this years event.

No route as of Sunday when I asked.

Apparently it 'should' be starting in Braintree and ending in Norwich. So an early start but it finishes on the doorstep.

It will be last years run in reverse.I think a couple of people are doing another recce this weekend to fine tune the notes.

Don't know about the whole run.
May do mildenhall onwards if its a reverse of last year?

I'm with you Johnnie. Travelling down to Braintee makes it a very long day plus as I've got linited milage on my insureance I dont want to use it up on just the one day!

Ok peoples. the route has been made public and it will be starting at Braintree retail park approx 2hrs from Norwich.

Meeting time is 09.30 for a 10am start.

They plan on arriving at Mildenhall for 12 noon as the pub opens then

Having checked out the route details we have decided to just do the second part of the run. (still nearly 60 miles without any detours!) getting at the bird in hand for noon. An easy induction to the 2010 mini convoy season ...... as we all know NMOC loves a mini convoy.
