24th MG Heritage run - May 6th
Broadland MG Owners Club have been in touch about their heritage run this year. It takes place on May 6th (bank holiday Monday) and is open to all sorts of cars, not just MGs.
The £20 entry fee gets you a run plaque, run notes and a cup of tea and bacon sandwich before the off in the morning. Closing date for entries is April 6th.
For more details, contact Jenny Clark on 01493 601796 or jennifer.clark860@ntlworld.com or visit the club website at www.broadlandmgoc.co.uk
Although it looks like you'll have to wait until next month - at the moment there's just a page saying they've exceeded their bandwidth for this month.

Re: 24th MG Heritage run - May 6th
I've just returned from this event which had 178 cars booked in. Three hours of driving!
We started off at Caister lifeboat station. Wingnut brought along his mother to navigate in Boris, which was a godsend.
The first 30 minutes seemed to be taken up with threading our way through the Yarmouth area on a sunny and busy bank holiday.
Once we got into rural parts it was great fun. Full marks to Carol Bedford for making sure we took the correct route and did not just follow the cars in front, who sometimes got it wrong.
We ended up in foreign parts and the run finished at Somerleyton Hall.
Here are my pics.

I took a pic of the wheel of a Triumph GT6 because I reckon it was banded.
Pics 14 and 15 are of a Lotus.
