I heard about this show through the Alfa club. Its meant to be a very good (big) show. I dont think I'll personally be able to attend.

I will probably go to the Peterborough BMC/BL rally that day. Its worth it just for the autojumble.

Think I may go along to the BMC day (morning anyways) see what bargains are about.

Mini or Jag Mr Ian?

If we have enough volunteers I can book a stand for Mini's.
If the response is desultory then it will be a dash in the Jag for all those who want to come along and the obligatory pics of that Wolseley 1300 and matching trailer.

By August 2nd I hope the Sooper Cooper will be back with us and the Red Shed will have been sold on to a new owner. And maybe Wingnut will be driving a blue Mini with a black roof.

The boot of the Jag would be useful if I bought one of those big illuminated BL mangle handle signs the autojumblers have. One would look good screwed to the front of my house all lit up !

Ok I'll see about booking a stand and I will set a goal to get H829FLE back on the road for this event.

I would prefer some more volunteers please. We still only have 3 or 4 cars with 2 more possibles and as Norfolks premier Mini club we should demonstrate the fact numerically. I don't see why KLMOC and MAD should outnumber us. I will wait and see what the response is like at the next clubnight before booking a stand. Sorry to be pedantic but I remember the 2006 period when club attendances at shows evaporated seemingly overnight, which may have been something to do with the oaf who was chairman at the time (yours truly), and I don't want to find myself with 3 cars on a big stand. It is humilliating to organise something and then recieve little support, so more volunteers please ?

Totally hear and agree with what you're saying Ian. Although I must say please don't get TOO hung up in a numbers game. Quality and all that mate!
I think the club in its present format is a million miles away from those dark days.

Having said that, a commitment on clubnight will help with sortting what size stand we need.

I take it you will be taking the red shed and not the Jag then Ian??

I'm sure there will be a few up for this show.
