BMC Show 2008 - Peterborough
Wingnut makes himself at home on the Allegro Club International stand.
To mark 35 years of the Allegro the ACI's theme this year was to have each car display a list of significant events in its year of manufacture. Club members also dressed in what they percieved as the fashions of the time.........
Dr Aggro was once again present along with Dangermouse.......

It's a Maxi adventure !
The worlds first front wheel drive, five door car, designed by Alec Issigonis.
Harris Mann's daring 1975 wedge shaped Princess. Unfortunately it was badly built by British Leyland........
The black car is the rare Wolseley 2200 of 1975. This actual car was used as a ministerial transport.
The Marina club
Classic Car Weekly Journalist Ian Seabrook has just had his Mini back from Carolines Cars at Ashwellthorpe. Wingnut examined it with his expert eye and was impressed with the workmanship, or should that be workwomanship ? In bright sunlight the paintwork gives off a metallic appearance.
A Mk1 Austin 1800 and a Gilbern, which I think looks quite nice.
An MGB GT V8, a later rubber bumper MGB that has had a chrome conversion, and an MGB with Triumph Stag wheels. And a home made wood rim octagon MG steering wheel !
Alec Issigonis's supermini, the best selling ADO16 1100/1300.
Chris Jones let us sit in his Wolseley 1300 fitted with a Metro engine and Rover 100 seats.
