Lucas 45D4 Distributor body
Hi Folks,
The nice man who sold James his mini had stripped the threads in the body of the dizzy; it has a screw on dizzy cap. Now we have bodged it on but may have to buy a whole new replacement just cos the threads are stripped.
I have tried Dad magic and ptfe tape etc but not much of a result
Any offers? Just a good dizzy body would do.
Matthew & James

I'll have a look in my collection of bits, but i think the dizzy i have is of the clip on type.
If no one can help here, you could try Panks electrical in Norwich. they are a lucas specialist. ( they were near Toys R Us the last time I used them)

Tim/Gumball is in Birmingham. I'm sure when he returns he will be able to offer some advice.
