12G295 Cylinder Head For Small Bore Engines

A 12G295 cylinder head off a 1962-66 MG Midget complete with rocker cover , rockers and valves .
I paid £40 for it and that is all I ask .
This is the open chamber , big valve cylinder head fitted to ADO16 MG 1100's 1962-67 , Mini Cooper's 1964-69 and the MG Midget 1098 cc . This head will add 6-7 bhp to a small bore 848 cc , 998 cc and 1098 cc Mini according to the David Vizard books of old .
It would need skimming to raise the compression ratio if fitted to a Mini , and in theory a conversion to unleaded , but Trevor my engine guru pours scorn on the latter .
For those members already paying stratospheric insurance premiums on their Mini's , this is a good way of getting more grunt without resorting to a bigger engine .
If no one wants it , it will sit in my garage until a future member comes in search of one .

This head has now been sold on . I look forward to seeing it in use .
