Brands Hatch Mini Festival

I have provisionally booked the NMOC in for this event.


The legendary Brands Hatch circuit in Kent will celebrate all things ‘Mini’ at its inaugural Festival on 16/17 June 2012. If you haven’t already heard of it, visit www.mini-festival.co.uk to find out more! We want to involve as many owners and clubs as possible, so we’ve set out some special offers for you to communicate to your members.

Coupled with a superb race schedule that includes various Mini championships (both old and new), there will be a host of mini-themed activities away from the circuit including stunt shows, air displays, live music, show and shine competitions, a trade zone plus much more. Do we want to go for the weekend or just the sunday?

Ticket price is £10 per day or £14 for the weekend (per adult) saving of £7
Camping is £10 per adult rather than £16
Clubstand area
Chance to drive around the Brands Indy circuit.

I believe there will be 11 mini/MINI races over the weekend.

Now booked the friday off work so i can do the sat and sunday.

Anymore names for the list? Need to confirm the stand.

If we went it would have to be Sunday only ... is the £10 each valid for that or only if we enter as a club??

I'm toying with the idea of going to this (although Mark's off with the army that weekend and has threatened to take his car keys with him) - who's going when?

I think that may spark an all out mini war and I need him to fix mine, so probably not a good idea! Thinking of taking my normal car, and going on the Sunday. If anyone wants to give me some company....

Just seen the line up and think a day trip on the sunday is best.

Racing starts at 10am so prob 7.30 at barton mills. We have till wednesday to get cheap tickets.

We have till midday tomorrow to get the reduced tickets.

we were think about this one, but the weather looks pretty wet .... ;-(

I was wondering if you can still get the tickets for £10, or in any event cheaper than on the day? I know that yuo haev said yuo can still get them tomorrow, if so please count us in! I was hoping to catch you tonight about it, so sorry for leaving it late. I need 4 tickets for Sunday, for me, Mark, John & I said I'd book Peter's for him. Would you mind letting me know if you can still get them and I'll BACS you the money or let you have it Sunday? If you can't I can still get them at £17 each until 12.00 noon tomorrow on the brands hatch website.

I have booked a club stand. The cars also get to do a parade lap of the circuit, and if you want to do that you need to bring your photocard driving licence for insurance purposes.

I don't suppose anyone is going on Saturday? Let me know if you are, as I can send you a couple of bits over as you need a club pass to park on the club stand space.

Forecast is sunny. Think we're all just sunday.

This was a show not to be missed. With mini racing, show & shine, lots to see.

This was their 1st year & they are doing it again next year.

Definitely a day/weekend not to be missed.

£21 worth of racing for a tenner, you cant go wrong. So much for the wet stuff, I think we are all suffering from dare I say it 'sunburn'!!

The 2 laps of the track are a bonus.

Definately on my calander for next year.

sounds great... despite my poor forecast i coul'nt have gone anyway as Tommy has decided to pee all over the floor - radiator leaking!!

up for this next year though by the sounds of it!
