1988 998cc - Fully Restored

My name is Michael and I have a mini for sale and wondered if any of your members would be interested. It is a 1988 dark blue modified 998cc mini.This car was totally professionally restored by Deans Minis in 2006, all fully documented. This car was my wife's pride and joy as it was a birthday present for her 40th birthday. We spent a very large sum of money on this car everything that needed to be replaced or repaired was done to a very high standard,the body was replaced with a rust free item and bare metal respray inside and out, all the interior was replaced with new carpets head lining and new Cobra recliners and matching backseat, new walnut dash, steering wheel, door furniture, centre console, cd player with iPod connection and 6x9 speakers. New rear subframe, brakes renewed, new chrome super lights 5.5x12. All chrome fitments on the body were replaced with new halogen head lights, all other lights were replaced with new light fittings and clear lenses, engine was modified with a unleaded stage 2 head and fastroad camshaft. HH distributer electronic ignition set up for the engine. I have replaced the alternator with a 80amp type and in the last 2 months it has had a new starter motor and battery. This car has only done approx. 2500 documented miles since 2006 and is stored in a garage all the time. It is fitted with alarm immobaliser, the condition of this car is beautiful and has been maintained regardless of cost. It is with regret that we are going to sell this car however we have a genuine reason as we just dont use it enough. We would like it to go to a enthuiastic Mini person.
