1987 998cc Mini Mooper

Hi all,

Unfortunately I do have some sad news, after two years of mini motoring and being with the NMOC my car is going up for sale this weekend

Due to my full time job I have now and the excessive amount of mileage that goes with it, the mini is no longer suitable for my everday use,
especially with the standard seats and gas shocks I've fitted.

I will be very sad to see the car go as I simply cannot afford to run two cars at once in this current climate.
The details of the car will be posted up here on Sunday/Monday once it's been advertised.

However I have no intention of leaving the NMOC anytime soon, after all the club's support and the people i've met over the last two years.
I will continue my support the NMOC throughout this year whether it's at a club night or helping out on our miniday this year, i'm still a mini owner at heart

Thats a shame mate but i remember how insurance used to hit the pocket hard at your age still get them no claims bonus behind you and it will soon go down and you will be back in a mini again .
Maybe its time to sell it and with the money get a cheat run around and a project mini that you can do up over the time so when you are ready it can get on the road looking just the way you want good luck .

Well I've had hundreds spent on it this month with new suspension, wheels and tyres so it pretty good atm so I wanted to sell it while it's at its prime.

I've already bought my replacement car this week, only done 54k miles and it a 2.0litre haha with the same insurance cost pretty much, tax isnt though

all the best with new job etc and will see ya at club events ..
