1987 Mini City E
Hi all,
A friend of mine is selling a mini on behalf of his nan who sadly passed away recently. The mini looks immaculate in my opinion and is completely original (elderly owner).
I wondered if anyone could give an idea what a car like this would be worth as he has no idea what to put it up for.
It is a 1987 Mini City E 998cc with just 36,000 miles on the clock. Not sure about MOT but it has tax till may 2011.
Here's some pictures;

No i offered £1000
needed a pannels rear valance and spotted paper between the inner and outer cills so went in low.
the bloke only made it a coulple miles before the waterpump let go and it was red so to common for me i would of only done it up and sold it

Re: 1987 Mini City E
I realy would hope the days of rolled up paper in the sills and a+b posts were well and truly over ..... Some of us have incountered cars of this type in the past .. But thankfully most of us rebuild our pride and joy to the best quality possible . with advice from all who will help

Re: 1987 Mini City E
Car Dealers, you've got to admire their face. It's a pity you can't force ebay to display your question to the seller as I'd ask for a list of work done to warrant the car doubling in price!

Re: 1987 Mini City E
It's a shame because someone will probabaly buy it for that price if they didn't have a clue about the mechanics side.
