ferry meadows BMC day

We have a club stand at this peterbough show .. normaly a brilliant auto jumble as its nearly all bmc /rover parts , as it aint mini custom only, the prices are reasonable as well several class,s of cars from austin a40 to the montego and maistros .... How many are up for this one . ps this event is in a field with good food outlets and wait for it wait wait and even brick built bogs ( the wc )

Sunday August 1st at Peterborough, once described by car journalist Richard Gunn as "the Venice of the Fens" , although I think he had his tongue firmly in his cheek.

The only reason you could the fens Venice , is that most of it is at or below sea level . so it can get a bit wet .

possibly here .... where and what time do we meet.. can we pay on the gate?

any details of where/when to meet and if we can pay at the gate as i'm thinking about asking my FIL if he wants to come as he worked at BL etc (he helped design the mini gearbox!)

We usually meet up at McDonalds at Swaffham on the A47.

07.30 at the thickthorn services for the Norwich convoy and then 08.00 @ Swaffham Mc'd's

We will arrive at the show for around 09.30

pay on the day, normally only a couple of quid.

I have phoned up to find how mutch it is and couldnt get a price. but is pay on the gate and we are booked in I have got conformation
