Re: NMOC GP II
All the committee are busy with IMM and MiniDay at the moment but I think we are due another one, maybe at a different track like Beccles.
I know Bury club and the Alfa's would be up for it.

Re: NMOC GP II
Yes, a run out to Beccles next time I think.
But if anyone else thinks they might be good at it - remember the committee gets re-elected in 2 months time and sadly Phil has chosen not to renew his membership, so we'll be looking for another pair of hands to help with events organising...StuddyFEX wrote:I'll leave all the organising to you, Craig..

Re: NMOC GP II
Beccles gets my vote the track is wicked and twin engine karts
but we have to book early because they atr always booked well in advanced
prob have to be a weekday evening 6pm
the mini grandprix is the best one to go for and you can have 11 to 12 on the track at the same time.

Well now that you are an events organiser, phone the Beccles go karting place and get some prices and dates they have available

Re: NMOC GP II
Grand Prix:
21 – 24 drivers £60.00 per person
25 – 30 drivers £59.00 per person
31+ drivers £58.00 per person
(Last’s approximately 3 ½ + hours depending on numbers)
Just sent them an email asking about what dates we can go there..
It will probably be late July/August time, as they seem to be very popular.
So who would be up for this?
1. Dan
2. Peter
3. Keith
4. Craig?
5. Lee
6. Leigh
7. Andrew

Re: NMOC GP II
Just heard back from the go karting place..
So would one of these dates be ok? Or should I contact Anglia Karting Centre to see if I can get a saturday?
Hello Dan,
The Fridays we have available around that time are as follows:-
Friday 30th July
Friday 6th August
Friday 13th August
Friday 20th August
Friday 27th August
We are getting booked up fairly quickly at the moment so I recommend that you book sooner rather than later.
Hope this helps you with your enquiry.
Kind Regards
Steve English

Re: NMOC GP II
I new there was no chance for Saturday im sure they run karting for owners of karts for that day.
We used to be able to get 6pm weekday evenings that was the latest they could do for mini grandprix.
If i remember rightly it was
5 lap pratice
18 laps
18 lap qually
18 lap final
i wouldnt be interested in doing another track becceles track is fast and demarnding how karting should be.
