It did, but someone had to do it.
I've always liked Denis Jenkinson' description of high speed motoring before speed limits, environmentalists and other do-gooders decided to spoil the party. Although it is now now considered immoral to say so, life must have been great cruising Europes motorways at 105 mph plus ! He went from a coupe E-Type to a roadster so that he could enjoy the sun in the traffic jams. Then when traffic became to dense he moved over to a BMW motorcycle.
Although I often joke about Norfolk people, in all seriousness you should all be very proud that Malcolm Sayer, creator of the worlds most beautiful car ever came from this county.
Here is another Norfolk connection, twice Le Mans winner Sir Henry "Tim" Birkin , who is buried at Blakeney.
