I took the trip to Snetterton today for the BTCC practicing and qualifying for tomorrows round. After 460+ photos I've got it down to 300 lol!

anyways heres the best ones :- http://nmoc.jalbum.net/BTCC09/index.html

The mini was just awsome 380bhp 'apparently'.

I was there too.

I met Martin Johnson, when his Astra broke down. I did mention the 400BHP mini in another post. Described by its pilot as 'hard to manage and a bit of a handful'.

It is still in development, not especially fast and not very loud.

Really good photos Craig. Us marshals aren't allowed to have cameras or use mobile phones when races are on so we don't get to take pics of the action, but we do get on to the track etc.

Yesterday was a bit wet and blowy at times and very hot at other times.

I was at Russells most of the day, and finished off at Esses/ Bombhole.

What makes me laugh is how the marshalls all stand trackside smoking!?! surely this is a no no??? always used to be.

Yes it is a no, no, during racing and many marshals don't smoke at all. Its a pain when you are marshalling with a smoker because they disappear between each race / practice and have a fag. They should be obviously smoking track side.
