Hi
Just wanted to buy one cheaper. £33 for a tool that i'll use once and probably never again seems a bit too steep

Cheers

Sorry, I wasn't sure if you knew they were available from DSN.

I think I borrowed one from a club member so it's worth asking around.

Hi Gumball that is one very nice offer, but i could'nt possibly take up your time, i would feel really bad and guilty for taking you away from your family. I plan on doing the job next week over a couple of days.

I have bought a couple of Hi Lo's off of Ebay and i'm hoping to get away without changing the rubber cones, though i appriciate that may change, But at £30 each i'm working to a budget.

I did'nt have a problem untill i put on two new tyres on the front. I've had to put my old Steel wheels back on the car until i get the job done. Drives fine on the old wheels and tyres.

Compression tool arrived this afternoon. By the time i had something to eat i have managed to do one side.

I was very surprised at the amount of pressure you have to put on the tool to be able to get the trumpet out. Quite frightning. Only other problem i had was getting everything lighned up ok. Had to compress the rubber several times to get the high lo to sit as it should

Will do the other side tomorrow. Should,nt take so long as i now have an idea on what to do.

Thanks for the advice and a big thank you to the offer of help

Cheers
