just saying hi

just wanted to say hi and introduce my self and the mini , I'm gem 24 and a total mini lover i have a 1998 mini Kensington now and my first ever car was a mini sprite that i have for 5 years and spent a small fortune on , then i had a new car that i never really loved so i bought my mini Kensington 1.3i that i call sky she even has a baby (a half mini trailer) that has ended up being call cloud 
. i really want to get into the events during next year i'm really looking forward to London to Brighton and M.I.T.P and all the many many more that are about these days. hope to make lots of new mini friends too 
Also anyone know how to track the previous owner of a private reg (not always been on sky or it would be easy) sky has one and i have been told the name of the person who originally registered it it and i am interested if its true. any help would be good.

its a bit quiet on here at the moment.
We attend most of the major events throughout the year aswell as organising our own events during the yr.
As for the reg, have you tried typing it in Google or HPi check? I found out my RS was owned by the son of Jame Hunt (ex F1 mclaren driver)
Hope to see you at a club meeting or event soon.

Look forward to seeing your car (and you) at future shows and events.
Don't know how to help trace it other than what Craig said, unless it's written on some paperwork to do with your car? It was a bit easier for me finding one of my cars previous owners, she was a police woman pulling me over to tell me that was her old car!

Welcome!!!
If you want to trace the history the easy way is to apply to the DVLA!!! ( it does cost a fiver) But you get the complete history (photocopy of each hand written V5c)

About half way down the page where it says 'V888' for members of the public!!!
