National Stag Day - classic car show Norwich 14/08

NMOC have been invited to the National Stag owners day at the Norfolk showground on sunday 14th August.

Its £5 per car with classic cars, autojumble, traders, indoor section showing timeline of triumph cars etc.

who would be up for this? i need to give numbers. its same wkend as Mini at the pod.

Dear NMOC,

We would be delighted if your club would support us in hosting this years National Day on behalf of the Stag Owners Club.

We are expecting around 800 Triumph Stags and visiting classics/sports cars and over 1500 people. We have numerous events taking place including Scalextric racing (large indoor professional track), Formula 1 simulator, balloon trips (tethered), model helicopter displays, Norwich Vikings Motorcycle Display Team etc. etc. Craft stalls will also be present. The main exhibits will be within the Showground’s 0.8 acre Exhibition Hall, thus catering for any ‘liquid sunshine’ on the day!

An unusual feature will be a Triumph Timeline. This will be a static line-up of Triumph transport from the earliest days of production right up to relatively recent years. Classic car historian, Graham Robson, has been secured to provide commentary on the day.

Your Club Members are cordially invited to join us in their cars from 10.00am onwards. A greatly reduced entry fee of £5 per car will achieve access for the entire day to all of the family-oriented attractions.

We hope you will reply soon with an approximate number of cars and the (outdoor) space required for your Club’s display area. Alternatively your members can attend individually although we would appreciate an approximate number prior to the event.

yes, sorry i won't be attending this as my dan is treating me to a day at the pod.
