Re: The NMOC inter-club quiz - 28th February
As a clue to a few answers I'd gen up on "land crabs", "Swiss coastal resorts", "The Bristol Axial Engine of the mid 1930" and "the life and times of Robert Jemison Van de Graaf"
There I've said too much, no more hints from me

Damn you Johnnie, I need to re-write half the quiz now! Just don't give anything away about the questions on Hungarian wood carvings or Venezualan cheese.

Re: The NMOC inter-club quiz - 28th February
Dan.
I'll be leaving mine around 9.30 as I need to get some last minute bits from the supermarkets on the way. Brooke is easy to find. just follow the signs for Bungay off the A47 southern bypass and then take the first right (signposted Poringland watch the GATSO).
As for food. Its Chilli baked potatoes or cheesey bean spuds. Tomatoe soup and rolls

Ahh, so we'll see you at the quiz, lol.
I'm driving there tomorrow, so do expect a call in the morning from us 'cos we're lost..
I'll put my think cap on, and hopefully triumph..

That's not far off, a bit further along the road though.
As Craig said, get on the Bungay road (B1332) from the A47 southern bypass - you have to take the A146 turning from the A47, head towards Lowestoft and after about 1/4 mile turn right. Go through poringland/framingham earl (yep, there's a GATSO outside the high school) and then after about 3 miles you'll come to Brooke. As you enter the 30mph limit there are a few houses on the left, then a playing field and then the entrance to the village hall. In all, about 1/4 mile from the speed limit sign.
Hope that helps everyone!
