Dover Travelodge Empty Dover Travelodge

Post by norfolkminis Sun Nov 29, 2009 10:06 pm

OK after tonights meeting and a compromise on a stupid o'clock start I've just looked at Travelodges within the 30 mile radius of Dover.

Currently theres a promotion on for rooms from £9!!!

Margate is £22
Canterbury is £22
Ashford is £39

I think boyd stays at the Margate one as he said it was on top of the Hill?? Its 25miles away from the port so roughly 45mins drive.
Canterbury one is 20 miles from the port approx.

Hi mark.

Johnnie will be posting all the details on Wednesday, due to working away and the club night on tuesday.

But a rough idea is driving down on the Wed night for a 8am ferry from Dover to Dunkirk. A stop over in Koln area then onto IMM site for Friday.

Drive home is IMM to Luxembourg then to Ferry.

Will be asking for definate names on Tuesday as tickets for ferries are going to be booked asap

Been checking Wednesday's overnight stay prior to catching the Dover ferry and we are booking into the Travellodge at Canterbury Whitcastle (£22 for the room). Also booking into the Medway Travellodge for Tuesday night (£19).
Who else is breaking the journey up like this?

Mark.

Have you booked your travelodges yet??

I'm booking mine & Boyds asap. I'm willing to book others if you can confirm within the next couple of days. Prices are going up. Currently seem to be £35 per room.

Can I confirm that its Canterbury Whitestable (20 miles form Dover) on the way out and the Medway on the way home.

looks like we are staying at different motels on the way down as we already had booked the Whitestable Travelodge.
Will sort out meeting point nearer the time.

I'm always looking out for a bargain and since the Travelodge room costs have increased since I booked just thought it would be a shame to miss out on the other motel deals.
