Sorry I have been quiet for a while, I had a trip to Birmingham to see my Mom at the end of Oct and while doing the usual job around the house I managed some how to fall of a ladder while cleaning out the guttering and took a nasty bump to my head and leg, after recovering for the rest of the day I continued doing some smaller jobs (as you do) I found myself checking some previous work carried out on moms garage roof..2nd mistake as I lost my balance and fell of taking out the next door neighbours asbestos roof and landing on a lawn mower,

When I can around I realised that I had hurt my lower back, cut my arms and legs and had some interesting grazing on my face, plus I think I breathed in far to much airborne ASBESTOS...

Needed to stay an extra 3 days with mom to recover enough to be able to drive home, I had some mad headaches and couldn’t move about much for 2 weeks, Blurred vision stopped me for being on the computer and having lights on in the house..

I'm about 95% now still got headaches and taking things easy, but I will bounce back as I normally do....Where's Gumball? Icon_bounce

Only got 5 lives left now........Where's Gumball? Icon_sad

Didn't you do a risk assessment before commencing work?

You're life sounds like something out of the Dandy! Did someone drop an anvil on your big toe after that and then did you slip on a banana skin into an open manhole? Smile

In all seriousness mate, hope you get back fighting fit soon. Look forward to catching up at the next club meeting... or at the pub on Sunday possibly?
