Hi Everyone
Hi everyone,
I have been looking on here for a while now but have never said hello and introduced myself
I passed my test a year ago I got myself a 1982 mini city as I had always loved minis and had always dreamed of owning one, it was in lovely condition but had a habit of breaking down nearly every week and so mum decided that I should get a newer car so for most of last year I was driving a boring old citroen while my mini stood in the barn being unused and looking sad.
But a couple of weeks ago I managed to convince her that a newer mini might not break down so often and that I really missed driving my old one, so a couple of weeks ago I put my city up on ebay as well as my citroen and sold them both then I got onto searching the net for a new mini and in the end got myself a 2000 Cooper Sport with 29000 miles on the clock which I thought was perfect
I got it on Thursday and have been pretty much been living in it since! I keep finding excuses to go out and drive in it .
I have booked in for the Crab run at next week's mini day and am going to be camping as well , I wanted to come last year but couldn't as that was when I was having all the problems with my old mini so am really excited to be coming this year!
I cant wait to meet all the people that are going to be there and see all the other mini's!
Harry.

Re: Hi Everyone
Hi
I'm new here too, would love to come to the mini celebrations at the weekend, alas I shall be in London.
After spending the last two months supposedly doing the 'sensible' thing and trying to sell my mini (half heartedly I have to say) I have just decided, I really can't let it go as can't see myself driving anything else. I have my dream car, so I would be mad to get rid of it!
Hope to come and meet some of you guys soon

Re: Hi Everyone
Hi and welcome to the club. I am also a fairly new member but I'm finding the NMOC very friendly. I will be at Fakenham on Saturday and Sunday with Golly-gosh. I'm sort of camping as taking the comforts of the caravan. Come over and say hello.

Hi,
Welcome aboard (says he who is not yet a member!)
Its a great club with smashing folks and you have bought a great car. I'll be at Fake'narm too.
If you ever go into Aylsham Mkt place when the Farmer's market is there, I am the one laying drums in the jazz band!
