new retro event
Could be a goer???
Good Morning
Retro Weekend
Kelling Heath Holiday Park in in the beautiful North Norfolk countryside is holding a 'retro' caravan & car rally weekend to celebrate our 25 year anniversary on the
12 - 15 June 2009 and was wondering if you as an organization would like to attend - we are also holding a 'retro' fete that weekend. As with most rallys you could attend one of all of the dates and hope you would be interested in joining us.
Please have a look at our web-site to see what our park may have to offer your members.
The Tariff for this weekend is a special £10 per pitch per night. There are extra charges for awnings, dogs, pup tents etc please contact reception or myself for any questions you may have, or alternatively visit our website.
I really do hope you can attend this exciting weekend special.
Sarah

Re: new retro event
I dont think we have anything else this wkend, as it would of been the Brum mini show, but due to IMM I cant see the normal show happening aswell.
Kelling heath is a good site, as the Mini club did hold a social camping wkend there a few yrs back.

Re: new retro event
this sounds like a good easy event for either camping or just a day visit

Re: new retro event
Due to the interest shown at the meeting on Tuesday night for this retro event at Kelling Heath and in my capacity as a newly appointed events organiser on the committeeeeeeee... I was ganged up on to run with this one.
Right then, I need numbers of those interested, soonest please for booking purposes (by this weekend if poss). As Craigs original post stated it is £10 per pitch per night. I had intended to go early evening Friday until Sunday (2 nights) but obviously as a group I am open to suggestions and popular demand.
More details on the event can be found at http://www.kellingheath.co.uk/information/
Those interested to date;
Phill & Judith
Tim
Lee & Naomi
Alex? (please confirm)
C'mon lets have a chilling, sun soaked weekend...the more the merrier!
Regards
Phill B
PS Kelling Heath is a big place, if we want to stay in the same vacinity a planned booking policy will be the best way forward.

Re: new retro event
Hi,
I won't be able to come to this after all as it's my birthday on the Saturday and me and family are going out for the day.

Re: new retro event
Thanks for letting me know Alex.
So to date, general opinion seems to be Sat & Sun (thats 1 night camping if my sums are right). I'm game for that... any other takers?

I just checked with work and they say Im good to have the whole weekend off
How many people are camping on the Saturday night and is it still possible to join and stay in the same area?
Sorry for the lateness of saying I can come.

Re: new retro event
Thats no problem...I've been in touch with Kelling Heath Holiday Park today to provisionally book some pitches but as I said in an earlier post it is a big place and there is plenty of room, consequently I was informed today all we need to do is turn up at reception and book in. What I intend to do is arrive either late afternoon friday or early sat morning, by which time I should have a good idea of roughly how many pitches we need and can sort something out with them as regards to close proximetry. Plain sailing really...Any body else? C'mon weathers gonna be fantastic!
