Local Cruise
As I'm sure most people will be dusting out the car and giving it an extra shine for the 1st July Club Meet (Show and shine night) how about we have a cruise after the meeting?
We have two options;
a) local - A run round the seedier parts of the city centre and then out to a fast food place for Burgers
B) coast - A run out to Yarmouth, down the sea front and park up for Burgers
Yes, there is a burger theme going down here
It won't take long, but, it will be fun to get as many cars out locally as possible.
What do you think?
Please indicate your willingness to attend and a preference for routes.
Once a consensus is found I'll sort out a route for the majority choice.
Johnnie
To start it off.

Re: Local Cruise
I reckon I'll shrug off the usual Tuesday night pool for this one.
How about a short run through the city, out on to the bypass at Trowse and on to Yarmouth. Park up at them middle-of-the-road spaces and watch all the boy racers go by? It'll be light until nearly 10pm too (if the weather's good).

Re: Local Cruise
I'm sure we got a go-er here then
Looks like Keith, Shaun, Clair/Paul, Chendi + me minimum.
A run through the city then out to Yarmouth to the sea front for chips, whelks and mushy peas,
Any more for any more? Dereks got to come cos its on his way home anyway? Is Lee bringing the soft top out?

Re: Local Cruise
Bump bump.
Hoping for some good weather Tuesday, and a good turn-out of minis.
Looks like the consensus is a trundle round the city before popping over to Yarmouth sea-front for a couple of laps of the prom and then park-up for chips, tea and medals. (Shell fish discretionary)

Re: Local Cruise
glad you had a good time chav hunting.
I'm on the look out for a top engine steady bracket if anyone has one kicking about. (just need the bit that bolts to the bulkhead. Mine decided to let go on route to the club night.

Re: Local Cruise
I think a group of Minis travelling like that always gets attention and therefore helps to promote the club.
The trouble is that Tuesday night will always be a quite evening and we don't want to eat into Club meeting time so how about I put a Saturday night chip run together for an August week-end? I'll do it way from any other shows so it doesn't clash.
Something along the lines of a Norwich meet at the cottage at around 7.30. quick drink and chat, trundle through the city, then a run out to Cromer ? Sheringham ? Yarmouth ? for chips (AND BLOODY WHELKS)
Just an excuse to drive the cars on a nice summer night I recon!!!!!!!
Who fancies it?
