Help Wanted

I have just got my other mini started but it only fires on 3 but if I take the HT lead off and rest it on the plug it fires ok any ideas what the problem can be!!!!!!!!!!!! changed plug's, point's, HT lead;s,compressor.coil and dizzy cap please help if you can Its doing my head in

It does sound like you've changed everything?
If its firing at the plug but not igniting (like my mini in Switzerland) it could be a fuel issue, Perhaps closed inlet valve?

Dont know if this helps come across this problem once myself and on a mates mine was a cracked inlet valve my mates was he didnt tighten up the locknut on the rocker arm when doing the tappets and it eventually backed off and wasnt opening the inlet.

how long have you had it sitting around for without starting it??? Sounds like you have tried all the major things... could be a sticky valve, could be the inlet manifold gasket if its bad enough???
