Re: Buy some stamps
I will set you all a question relating to the stamps, one of which is a Supermarine Spitfire.
Which now sadly deceased TV personality was connected to Norfolk, the Spitfire and the Mini ?

Re: Buy some stamps
Raymond Baxter served with 602 squadron, flying Spitfires out of Ludham.
Between 1966 and 1968 he was BMC PR director, where he organised a couple of big Mini events at Brands Hatch, which have been a never ending source of pics for books and magazines ever since.
Sales pitches push the percieved benefits of a particular product.
The Ford Fiesta and Renault 5 may have had convenient hatchbacks for shoving in the shopping, but hey, the Mini had a tighter turning circle and best of all........
a black grille !!!!
