Hi Charlie, welcome to the forum! Maybe we'll see you at one of our meets?

Nothing springs to mind for your project but there might be someone on here that can help you, lets see if anyone posts....

Hello!

I live about 4 miles out of Fakenham and have a project Mini that we're slowly doing up and she has come quite a way already but hopefully we'll keep her!

There was one I saw in passing in a random car sales place on the road from Roughton to Cromer Zoo but I'm not sure she is still there now.

Hope you find one, they are wonderful to own Smile Also everyone on here are really friendly and helpful if you need it! Very Happy

Kimi, I will check that out in the week, I did rebuild a 1971 about 2001 and unfortunately rolled that down the road near that farm shop at Thornage Breaks near Letheringsett, ever since then I have been planning another project been building up the tools and skills just itching for a project car now! Demand seems to have gone through the roof since the Top Gear shop or could just be the new year resolutions and such.

What is your car? I think they are great car!

Charlie

I'll put a notice in the newsletter about your project - someone might have something suitable out there!

I've been looking at the forum, it seems like you all have a lot of fun, I looked through the Gumball 2 images earlier love to join one of those, just need to get a car on the road. How many people come to the meets normally?? Charlie

Depending on the time of year etc. we normally have around 20-40 people come to the meetings each month. There's a meeting tomorrow night if you can make it - we meet at The Cottage PH in Thorpe St Andrew in Norwich (Google Maps). Otherwise we're there on the first Tuesday of each month at 8pm.

The Gumball run was a lot of fun last year and this year we're hoping to make it even better - there's a topic in Playpen where we're talking about the possible route.

I saw that advert, that looks like a deal, trouble is one thing I have never liked on a mini is de-seaming! It does add a cleaner line and I'm all for modifying but thats the main reason that ones out! cheers for the heads up though caroline!

Looking at a neon near norwich tomorrow, might be good but advertised as a project, dont know much about the neon, thinking its a 1000cc similar to a sprite or city. fingers crossed!
