50th Sticker!
Following on from getting a 50th sticker from the auction, we put it on the car and posted pics on another site - going down well, maybe the person who did it could build a business here!!

Re: 50th Sticker!
it maybe worth pointing out a small tip about applying a small amount of water to the area that the sticker is going. This will allow for slight adjustments if needed

Re: 50th Sticker!
just a quick question, are they permanent, or can you remove them if you need to?

yes they can be easily removed by warming the viynl with a hairdryer and just polish the paint work afterwards.
i'm always changing the stickers on mine and they come off easier than when you put them on..

Re: 50th Sticker!
just remember when polishing the car, dont go over the sticker as you will wear out the sticker and get a rim of hard polish around the lettering.
Same goes for any pin striping or copper bonnet stripes.

Having stripped the steering column out of Chendis mini yesterday, I learnt that the steering wheel retaining nut should be held on with more than super glue
I kid you not

Re: 50th Sticker!
Not the bottom, the top!!!
The thread was so knacked on the top of the column the nut had been glued onto it. One good pull on the wheel and it would have been off.
New (2nd hand) column fitted.
Only £10 from the Mini Farm complete with Nut and lock washer.
