998cc project

Got emailed this Mini today. Its local to me.


My wife text you a while ago about a Mini Classic 1000cc that we want to sell and she has asked me to send you some photos and some more information.
We bought it about two and a half years ago for our son (it spent a year in the garage before he used it) but he is now at uni and it is sitting in the garage again surplus to requirements! It has had quite a lot of work done in our ownership including:

New steering rack
New water pump
New head gasket
New walnut dash and centre console
Refurbished Weller wheels (white) and recent new front tyres
New boot carpet
Full service etc

His girlfriend's dad was a mechanic so mechanically it is in good condition. The body work is OK but there are a few rust blisters which are in the "usual places" I'm told. It will need some welding to get it though the MOT on the footwells as well and a new battery.

Recorded mileage is 92722.
Date first reg: 07 02 1991
Reg: H712 ASL
No tax or MOT currently

I think it would make a great project car and we're wondering if you might know anyone who is looking for a Mini like this.
