For those who have never done this event, I assure you all that it is great fun standing on a float with thousands of people cheering you. In fact I liken it to Hitler being cheered on by crowds of adoring Berliners after his panzers had blitzkrieged their way across France and the low countries some 70 years ago...........

I've got some 70's CD compilations as well. I think I have at least one Slade track. Derek told me he has met Dave Hill.

Excellent day. Thanks to Harry for sorting out the sounds and Peter for the Genie.

Keith the reason I called you was for the 70's tunage.

Thanks to everyone who supported the club, it was also nice to see a few faces in the crowds. ie the smout family, Keith & sarah, my mum and not forgetting Buttscratcher Bry!!

my pics are here :- http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=13689956&id=803650450#!/album.php?aid=497285&id=803650450

My friends thought it was hilarious that I was getting abuse from one of the floats. The float looked good, well done to those who took part!

70s tunage - I sent Harry a message on Thursday night telling him how to download the music from me. Maybe he didn't see it or it didn't work?

I took a few photos as you guys went past too...
