Obituary- Jeff Daniels

Sad to report the death at the age of 68, the veteran technical motoring journalist Jeff Daniels. Jeff Daniels worked for both CAR and AUTOCAR, was PR man for Citroen and Nissan. His 1980 book "British Leyland : The Truth Behind the Cars" was an invaluble guide to the decline of the British car industry. Other more recent books include "Modern Car Technology", "Driving Force: The Evolution of the Car Engine", "Jaguar : The Engineering Story" and only just published "Porsche : The Engineering Story". Jeff Daniels skill was in being able to explain complex engineering subjects to the layman and make it sound interesting. His most recent books are still available from Amazon.
