is this right that all people using a cb radio have to have a licence at a cost of £21

after going to a few other sites it seem that the licence was abolished on the 8th 12th 2006 ???
does anyone no more about it ???

CB radio in the UK was deregulated in December 2006 by the regulatory body Ofcom, and CB radio in the UK is now license-free

I did buy one back in the day when it was £15. But no-one ever bothered to be honest.

Its a bit of a sticky wicket subject really esp when the hands free law came in a couple of years back.
