MCR SHOW BEAULIEU 14/05/09

A great day out. Some great cars but perhaps the real star car was my Jaguar XJR that enabled us to get there in comfort and in good time. I won't say on here how long it took to get there, but lets just say it did not take 5 hours as one person predicted. The autojumble proved fruitful for bits for my rebuild. Roll on Gaydon on July 5th.

glad you had a good day, and hope for your sake you dodged all the speed cameras down south!!

I came back to find I had been outbid on all the ebay items I was hoping to buy. I am beginning to think it is better to travel to a show and pick up items for under £5 than bid on ebay where the items both cost more and are snatched from your grasp at the last minute.

a very good show and i have got to say it was not a show of snobs as i thought it it would be .. lots of Minis in one car parking area and new binis had there own large car park .as well as several club stands who i have never heard of and as for the row upon row of coopers BRILLIANT
the concors was very high standard The musume is worth a visit but it need the event outside to fill the day

Wingnut commented that the paintjob on this 1959 car came from a can !
