Hope everybody got home in one piece. A good show, but a bit annoyed about the lack of info on using the test hill.
I noticed on the way out that there was a queue forming so joined in only to be told (by the miserable codger that had a go at the lads in the Chevy powered beast) that I couldn't run without a wrist band and it was too late to get one now!!!!!!!!!!!
Some sort of notice telling us the score if you want a run might have helped as my bloody psychic powers seem to be on the blink at the moment.

Was a good day. thanks to everyone who made the effort to attend. I think we must of been the only club to attend with 2 Minis and 5 support cars!!

Was also good to meet up with Mark (moonloop) from East Coast and the group from Saff Minis who tagged onto the NMOC convoy.

Sorry you didnt get to burn your clutch out johnnie!!

Pics to follow Smile

We had a great time at our first show. Thanks to all of you for making a newby feel welcome. I spent far too much at the trade stands buying Minx her pressies (seeing as I was one of the minis in disguise!) but at least I was able to put faces to names and will bump into you again on the forum or future mini shows. Even though we had to leave early (toddler problems) It was a great day out and has only managed to get me more into minis - London 2 Brighton here we come!

Glad you had a good day.

As johnnie said we have the Bury run on the 20th April (if Minx is back on the road) and we have a few cars going to Snetterton on 27th April for the Mini racing.

If you go to L2B all I can say is leave early as parking is a nightmare if you arent taking part in the actual run.

Craig
