I did wonder when you said April 8th!! Easter is 23rd March. I know they dont advertise the Stoneleigh show much now.

Last years was combined with the VeeDub show.

Will start a new thread about Stoneleigh when I find the details.

I know attendances have been poor the last couple of years. I went to the "National Restoration Show" in October which is the posh name for the general all marques classic car show at Stoneleigh, and the queue to get in began in Stoneleigh village itself, so it is not as if there is a decline in public interest in the classic car scene, just Mini's.

I stumbled across a Triumph Dolomite forum.
According to them both the Stoneleigh Mini and Triumph shows have been axed and they claimed it costs the organisers £40K to hire the halls.

I wouldnt be supprised about the costs involved.

Norwich showground is approx £20k for 1/2 the field. (that was 2003 prices)

looking at the VCE show website. The Mini scene has been well and truely dumped along with the VW boys!!

Big mistake I think.

Such a shame.
