IMM 2009 / Mini 50
Ok so I've had a quick look at the Mini 50 website. NMOC can book a one day clubstand BUT heres the following problems:-
* only 3 cars on the stand
* No car movement on the show field until 18.30!!
* May not be any space left as its allocated on a first come first served basis.
If we attend as joe public then price of the show is £12 per adult 8yrs - 16yr olds £8.
More details here :- http://www.mini50.com/

Now this I don't understand????
If you can't move until 18.30, but, all non-IMM attenders MUST be off site by 18.00 we appear to have fallen foul of some sort of Brummie time travel trick??????? Perhaps Tim might be able to explain?
Anyway 3 cars is of no use to us at all. There isn't a fair way to allocate the spots.
I say we go Joe Pubic!!!!!!
Opinions please folks.

I plan to go on the Saturday by Jag.
My reasoning for this as follows.
Sunday is the last day and many of the continental visitors will have departed and taken their exotic machinery with them, leaving a rearguard and all the usual cars we see at the UK shows. And the IMM is our chance to see Europes finest.

Re: IMM 2009 / Mini 50
yes it is a lot of money but how much was imm holland and germany next year its the biggest show of the year and hundreds of club stands will be there but not ours cant help thinking its because its in brum if its was in norwich, silverstone, santapod i bet we would do the three days and if its 12 pounds to get in why not stay in a bandb or a travellodge just out of brum there looks like plenty to do morning, afternoon and nite theres a mini run on the sat would be great fun to go as a group instead of all that way to come back a few hours later me my self would rather pay the money and miss say mini in the park same cars same thing every year this is a chance to see some cars u wouldnt normally see

Re: IMM 2009 / Mini 50
Holland was approx £35 per adult. Dont get me wrong IMM is a good show, but after doing Norwich in 04, Holland 08, I've seen most of the cars. I plan on going to Germany and making it my holiday.
I am also very restricted to holidays from work, hence why I plan on going on the Saturday as I work Sunday night - Thurs night. This is the main reason for me not attending the whole wkend, along with the price.
