My brother called to say he'd been stuck behind 17 German registered Minis at the Dartford tunnel this morning.

We spoke about a route to the IMM....

I have had a look at the best way to avoid most of the traffic and this is what i have come up with...

Its very straight forward...

Normal run via A47 then A11 then A14..

Then M6 upto Junc 4....M42 south we follow this to HOPWOOD services A441 (we can stop for pee break if anyone wants to).

We follow the A441 (birmingham road) upto (Longbridge lane) then turn left on B4120 (Lickey Road).

We turn right and go passed what was "Longbridge" (R.I.P) then turn left onto LOWHILL ROAD.. follow this for 700 mtrs and we go passed Q Gate, then 500 mtrs on the right we come to the Enterance to the IMM....

the photo shows the enterance at the bottom just to the RIGHT of the middle silver roof..... ie first set of trees.....

Sounds like a plan Tim. It may be an idea if you take up the role of lead car from near Brum?
