MiniDay 24th May 2009

Post by norfolkminis on Sat Jan 17, 2009 7:16 pm

Right after the committee meeting on Thursday night we have come up with a few ideas for the '09 event.

Entrance price has been confirmed as £4 per adult (over 16yrs) FREE to kids - Advance only qualify for £4. (available upto 2wks before the event)
£5 per adult on the gate, Kids are FREE.

Camping will be available on the Saturday night at £5 per adult (under 16's FREE) This will include a FREE mini run, and hopefully a run plaque or sticker.

The Mini run will be £5 per CAR to non campers.

Saturday night will be a NMOC General knowledge quiz followed by a small disco - this will be a couple of quid extra and hopefully we will open this up to other campers onsite, so not just Mini people.

Hopefully we will be using the main entrance so a certain mini club cant steal or move show signs!!! Mad

More details will be added when confirmed

Not a treasure hunt, but, an afternoon run from the racecourse round the coast roads to Cromer.
Limited to 40 cars, leaving the racecourse at 14.30.
Plaque, route book and all the trimmings

Only a fiver or FREE if you intend to camp over on Saturday night. (Quiz night laid on in the bar plus drinking with fellow Mini-ists)

If you want an application for the run drop me an IM and I'll get one to you.

Johnnie

Our tickets arrived Fiday and looking forward to the weekend. Hope to arrive mid to late Saturday morning with the caravan (Fingers crossed we have sorted out the towing problem.) Golly-gosh came home from the L2B in good shape so up for the crab run. Could do something with the bbq any suggestions?

Can I just point out that parts of the campsite have been reserved. For example the hard standing area by the entrance is needed for a Winnie Shocked . This will be arriving early afternoon.

I should be up there around 11am so PLEASE dont pitch up until a committee member is onsite.

Thanks

As some members were aware i have been trying to get a demo car / test drive car for our mini day ....from a bmw dealership on the outskirts of a fine city (no names) .......Sure enough BMW THE DEALERSHIP ,not the owners of the cars . HAVE ABSERLUTLY NO INTREST IN PROMOTING THERE CAR AT A Mini only car event ..........Can only say there loss confused
