‘Norfolk Mini Day, Fakenham Racecourse - May 27th 2007’
This was HAMOC's first clubstand of the year and also the debut show for Vicki's Mini since undergoing restoration. I must say it looked extremely good! Norfolk Mini Club always make a good effort to try and include a bit of everything at the show. Whether it be traders, club games, concours etc, it's all there. We set up our club stand, a bit of bunting, in pride of place for show goers to see. We entered Merri into the concours estates class, whilst Budgie and Matt's Sport 500 were entered into the Rover Cooper class. As the weather seemed to worsen further throughout the day, the wind picked up and carried the gazebo away. RIP poor gazebo you served us well!! Anyway, Merri managed to carry away a class win, and Matt collected a very respectable 3rd place in a difficult class. A good day for HAMOC, well done to all. Despite the weather of the day, there was a really nice friendly atmosphere and a good time was had by all. :-)
