I normaly mask the disk and spray them with ENGINE LACQUER.. its about £5 for a 250ml tin and seems to last for ever....

Had a really good day today. Tim & Lee visited to get the front end on - did a brill job - very much appreciated!!!

I supplied tea/coffee/chips and smalltalk but they wanted to get on .... here are the results...

.. and Voila!!

Really pleased with the results. Not too much more to do now before a re-spray, just the front suspension (new cones and hi-lo's) and i need to sort the brake pipes out.... (will be nice to have brakes back!)

.... getting close to the end now... tim & lee over again changing the hi-lo's and front subframe rear mounts. Whilst I have the servo out the engine steady looked a bit dodgy - the bushes were very worn so replaced all these and then finished the brake lines - servo back in and engine fired up. Just need to get Tommy driveable now as................. he's booked in for a paint job v shortly...!!

Tim and Lee working hard/sleeping (delete as apprioriate!) - sorry guys could'nt resist it!!!
