We never thought of that.... but thinking about it young'un has trouble polishing his shoes so keeping all that chrome bright and clean would be a massive challange for him... lol! lol!

There were no stupid gadgets in the books.
Here is an interesting James Bond related fact.
Due to an accountantcy error, Aston Martin lost money on every DB5 sold.
In fact Corgi made more money than Aston Martin with their James Bond DB5 model !

I don't believe that the money loss was confined to the DB5 in those days Ian.

And the gadgets aren't stupid, they make the films.

I thought that Quantity Of Sausage was poor at best. The editing of the action scenes was all over the place and difficult to watch

we had a little play last week and fitted some of the rear bits so we can turn him around and pull the front end a part....

After the rain this morning we had 2 hour spare and set about unpluging everything from the engine bay..

Our idea is to lift the body off the engine and subframe as this is a simple way as we need to strip it all down to clean and panit.

here is the before.........

Its out...........

we had some spare time from 3pm - 6pm so we had a play..

Its all degreased and jet washed off ready for inspection.

I cant wait to pull the engine apart now......

We have started cleaning the engine now and have taken the head off to decoke it....

Cheers Johnie.....

we had some time this afternoon so started on the front end and soon found so small holes in the sills.... these turned into BIG hole after i attacked them with my hammer and air chisel,

now we need some new sills........



and here is the easy way to get under the front to work on it......
