My mouse eaten Rustiolet

Post by TOO LOW on Sat Apr 26, 2008 9:34 pm

Well where do I start?

This mini was offered to me after it had sat for a long period of time unused and unloved.
The price seemed very good so I went and had a look.

Its been sitting in a garage with sacks of grain.. Yup you guessed it MICE!! and lots of em.
Ive counted five nests in the car so far!!

This car was very cheap but even i nearly walked away as there is just so much to do.

Mice have eaten most wires (pics soon), carpets, Seat edges, the hood, hood bag, anything plastic inside has nibbles and the whole car STINKS of mouse urine. pale

The outside looks ok-ish but has been subject to an MBM tidy up at some point.
So here it is in all its bashed up rust and mouse eaten glory Very Happy

I have set a mouse trap as I'm sure there is still one in there somewhere!! Shocked

And yes that really is mouse poo!!! pale

Needless to say I think its gonna be a year or three before this one enters a miniday show n shine Very Happy

Ive been really good recently. tongue
Ive had the chop since august 07 and have no plans on selling it for a year or two untill the cabrio is show worthy.

So with the 30 thats three. I'm trying to cut down but I just cant say no to a rusty mini in need lol
I need some mini patches or something.

Its tempting to stuff the little bugger and have him as a hood ornament after all the havic its caused.

If we had a grottiest mini category I would enter it Laughing

I think its gonna be a while before this one sees the light of day.
TBH I dont plan on doing anything special to it.. just a clean up and mot.
