Post by johnnie on Mon Aug 17, 2009 5:34 pm

Right lets have some names on the board for this one.......

30/08/09
Starting at the Cottage Pub at 10-11am
Finish at Billingford Village Green 3pm onwards

Theres a 60-70 mile treasure hunt, collecting clues, items and a sun tan!
Back to the green for a BBQ, games and a good old chin-wagging social.
Raffle with world class prizes.

Great fun last year. You don't even need a mini. All welcome bring some friends.

£5 per car paid on the day. That gets you a route book. set of clues and a burger or hot dog for the driver on arrival at the finish.
We'll have the barbee fired up and the very reasonable prices from last year have been frozen!!!!!!!!!

Johnnie......its just a thought but last year we all went off indivually and did not see any other minis untill the end..?

Would it be more FUN to have teams of 2 or 3 minis..??

Agreed, this year its much more of a predetermined route so if people want to run together thats fine.
If we get enough people this year than i may look at a "team event" for next time as I think youre right it would add to it.

I might do some of the course and then make a b-line for Billingford in time to help set up the BBQ etc.

I've got 2 cars of friends from work who are going to come along too.
