Need a favour - and you'll be famous

I have been contacted today by the one and only BBC Radio Norfolk. They have requested the NMOC's help in a radio feature to celebrate Mini 50 on Wednesday 26th August.

They want to have a couple of Mini's outside the Forum in Norwich so they can do a radio interview etc with the owners. I only have a rough time scale at the moment of between 10am and 1pm,

As I'll be unavailable do we have any one here willing to do it??

This is another great PR excercise for the club.

I have that day off work so I suppose if I haveee to I could bring the mini outside the forum, Im not overly good with the entire mini history so might be pretty useless with that but I would love to come along

Sounds like a good idea for PR, not too sure about the interview side of things as my knowledge is not brilliant, but would definetely like to join the display at the forum.

R/N are very happy that we have got 5 Mini's willing to show up. I'm waiting to hear how they want to play it now, as all the producers are in a meeting today.

Ok. I've had confirmation from the BBC about the NMOC PR Exercise.

We have obtained a permit for the 5 minis to be parked in front of the Forum (bottom of the steps, so no italian job stunts please) The interviews will take place live on air between 12 and 1pm so if the cars could be in place from say 11am?? as the reporter will need to brief you all.
