Bugger, I do hope you're totally okay Ian.

That was a damn fine car, that you were rightly very proud of. I do hope that theres enough recoverable for it to atleast rise in sprit.

I am determined to get back on the road in a Mini.
It was a bloody good car in its latest form. I felt I had discovered the secret to great Mini motoring, plenty of soundproofing, an engine built by the best in the business and mated to the right gearing for that 60's/70's Mini experience.
I am just waiting for the muscular aches to kick in tomorrow.
I wish it to be recorded that Tim and Louise were fantastic in my hour of need and were very supportive and encouraging about the future. With Tim's unrivalled knowledge I shall soon be back on the road in an ADO20 as most of the good bits are salvageble.

Has it been on its roof?

What the hell happened?

I lost grip on a newly laid road surface and flew through a wire fence, across a short concrete apron and then into a gravel car park which failed to stop me. I ended up in a fence by a field containing south American llamas. The windscreen shattered into a million pieces and think if it hadn't been for my spectacles I think I might have suffered some serious eye injuries.
