I realized I haven't planned anything in a long time so was thinking seeing as its a week of bonfires and fireworks that I could do a NMOC bonfire night . We have loads of stuff that mum keeps telling me needs burning that would make a decent size fire. Then I could get the ol BBQ out for some food!

I guess it would be good if people bought some food and drink along so there is a good amount and I don't have to dip into my mini fund to much haha!

But I wanted to check what people thought ...

I was contacted by Framingham Earl High School some time ago about their 50th anniversary this year. They're having a day of celebrations on Saturday October 10th and asked us if we would like to make an appearance seeing as Mini is celebrating the same birthday this year. Some details of the day can be found here.

I've yet to get back in touch with them but I'm guessing it'll be the usual set up. So who's up for going back to school? It happens to be my old high school (and my mum's!) ...

Its time for another Billingford Burger trail.

Following the success of last years event, lets do something along the same lines again. what I propose is a tresure hunt along a defined route collecting clues and objects for around 50 to 60 miles, This will be followed by a BBQ in the Billingford field. A social, a few games and then an evening cruise back to Norwich, through the city centre (showing off basically)

They are also approaching BMW to see if they will supply a new MINI (but I doubt they will support it as it would mean driving it all of across the rd).

I believe its the day after the Lord Mayors.

RAF Marham Charity Track Day Weekend

RAF Marham would like to invite you to a Charity Track Day Weekend on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th April 2009.

The track uses a combination of the airfield's main runway and taxiways resulting in a track that is around 3 miles long consisting of wide, smooth tarmac and concrete with lots of safe run offs. There will be approx 1 mile of the main runway in use with many sweeping curves and chicanes along the taxiways.

As Michelle said at the meeting it is open to all cars, so the mini can stay indoors if you like. (but it would be good to see some Minis there!!)

Price is £5 per car (includes a FREE burger for the driver, other food is available) if you or a passenger are a veggie, please let us know asap so we can get some artifical burgers in
