We normally have a good turn out for this show, but unfortunately NMOC have 3 cars off to Holland on for the IMM on thursday.

1275 cooper s engine

hello craig.

thanks for getting back to me and the offer of advertiseing my engine for me.

as i said before it has been identifed as a 1275 copper s engine

i have the whole engine and gear box but all that has been done to it so far is the block bored out at +20 and the head re conditiond ie new seats and valves re cut laped in.

the head its self is at least a stage 3 if not a full blown race head.

i have no idea as to what it is all worth,as much as some one is prepered to pay i suppose ...

I have been looking at various websites with regard to ferries to Holland. The best being www.stenaline.co.uk

It would mean travelling out on Thursday 8th May to catch a 23.45hrs ferry - gets to Holland @ 07.45am on the Friday

And a return ferry on Monday 12th @ 14.30 gets back to Harwich @ 20.00hrs

It looks like we can get tickets for �49 each way (per adult)

A single birth cabin is either �20 (inside) or �26 (window/ outside)

Well where do I start?

This mini was offered to me after it had sat for a long period of time unused and unloved.

The price seemed very good so I went and had a look.

Its been sitting in a garage with sacks of grain.. Yup you guessed it MICE!! and lots of em.

Ive counted five nests in the car so far!!

Anyway after a rough inspection and a bit of prodding with a screw driver the car was resting nicely on a pile rust.

theres been a slight change this year to the route. Basically it will be 70 mile cross-country drive to Aldeburgh from Bury St Edmunds.

Price is �15 per car. this includes grille plaque, run notes, and finishing gift.

Hi there i'm looking for another engine for my mini, at present it has an 1100 in it, however after having the head done on it it still smokes badly, 2 garages have recommended replacing the engine as it would be cheaper than doing the work on this one, i don't mind what size it is, but it must have low milage and be in really good condition, it would be good to hear it running too, they have also mentioned that it should be compatible with 10 inch wheels i don't understand that bit but i'm ...

i bought a brand new set of dunlop/rover cones, i have fitted the rears and used them (still less than 1000 miles) the others still remain unfitted and sitting in the shed.

i have been told they are the same softer compound as used in late sportspack minis, they give a smooth/soft ride (not what i wanted)

This is looking like it 'may' be a bigger show than normal due to the stoneleigh issue.

This is a good show with the added bonus of a hill climb, car museum, plane museum and Merc World just over the fence

Brooklands is only a 2hr drive at a steady pace, so maybe a good 1 to get the 2008 show season ...

Jamies Run 3 - Bank Holiday Monday 24th March

This is an excellent all day mini run around the suffolk coast and countryside. Starting in Yarmouth and finishing in the Felixstowe area.

Organised by our neighbours East Coast MOC. Mainly Bini's but last years run had quite a few of us classic Mini drivers attend.

This is a charity event in memory of one of their former members. Last year NMOC attended with 4 cars, hopefully wecan have more this year.

For those unfamiliar with the show it used to be held on the BH after Miniday near Cromer and NMOC reguarly attend. Last year unfortunately was a washout due to torrential rain.

2006 BMW Cooper S

My mate is selling his pride and joy 2006 (06 plate) Cooper S, due to getting on the property ladder.

The car is in mint condition and has only covered 13k miles.

Its fully loaded spec wise, I believe the only option not on the car is Sat nav!!
